We are small digital web agency running a start-up, The position available will be is a full time role for 6-7 weeks, then temporarily part time with potential opportunity to go back to full time.
About the Company
Based in Abbotsford in a chilled open planned office, we help out small to medium businesses with their websites & online presence whilst at the same time maintaining long-term healthy relationships with all our clients. We are a growing company, and have hit the ground running with no signs of slowing down! We enjoy a good laugh, but ensure that hard work is always carried out in a relaxed, comfortable environment in an awesome space surrounded by cafes & public transport.
About The Role:
The successful candidate will be required from Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm and will be expected to establish healthy relationships with both our Melbourne team & Overseas team. This role is key to the engine of this business.
The right applicant will be assessing our existing processes & procedures and establishing a solid foundation in our operations. Web Development is also needed for assistance & to further improve efficiency in current procedures (SEO knowledge will be favoured).
Duties & Responsibilities
- To contribute to the business in a professional manner in order to assist growth and development of the business and your own professional development and skills.
- Establishing good relationships between our Melbourne & Overseas offices
- Website analysis
- Ensuring communication is always well maintained
- Maintaining existing clients websites & changes needed
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Experience running a small tech support team(internally or for a large business)
- Excellent communication & people skills
- Great organisational skills
- Ability to effectively manage teams of developers and to independently solve problems
- Ability to easily navigate Microsoft Office suite
- Website Development experience
- SEO knowledge is preferred but not essential

The underlying skills required for this role include communication both written and verbal, combined with an attention to detail and a willingness to show initiative – the ability to multi-task is vital. Confidence to ask questions, and seek clarification is a requirement, along with a commitment to confidentiality and making a valued contribution to our positive Team and work environment.
Our office has a strong focus on client servicing and we believe it forms part of the collaborative culture of the business and the nature of the work.
Probation period and performance:
An initial probation period of 1 week, then a further period of 3 months during which time performance, attitude, skills and developments will be reviewed. At the end of the 3 months there will be a review of your progress. At this review you will be at liberty to raise any matters that may be of concern to you. During this probationary period of 1-3 months, should either party believe that the working relationship should not continue then employment would cease.

Included in our internal program are in-house meetings where, as a professional team, we review subjects and issues which we believe to be important to our technical program and development as a team.
