Qscan is a leading diagnostic imaging provider, operating 33 clinics with 40 radiologists and 480 staff across Qld and NSW. A dynamic organisation, Qscan is driven by clarity of vision and values that focus on providing compassionate care for patients and excellence for referrers. The organisation is embarking upon a period of significant growth, and requires a talented internal communications and change practitioner to design a strategy that effectively engages staff through aligning change to the vision and values.

This is a newly created role, reporting into the Group HR Manager. The role will focus on the following:

  • Assist the Group HR Manager in defining a group wide employer brand strategy;
  • With this in mind, create a powerful internal communications and change management plan in alignment with the existing business plan;
  • Support the project leaders in creating tailored communications plans in support of their initiatives;
  • Take ownership and drive the Qscan employee engagement strategy, working across the business to identify relevant activities, events and opportunities for external engagement; and
  • Develop and manage content and delivery across all channels, including the intranet, social media, monthly newsletter and internal events.

To be considered for this opportunity, your background and skill set will cover the following requirements:

  • At least five years’ experience in a dedicated internal and change communications role;
  • Previous experience in the design and execution of internal communication strategies and change management activities;
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messages and to create targeted, effective communications to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders;
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills; and
  • A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes.
