BRAND MANAGER

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Brand Manager who can take leadership for the development and execution of our marketing strategy across our four iconic brands.  The brand manager is responsible for creating engaging experiences for our trade customers and consumers to ensure continued brand loyalty, whilst driving long term profitable growth.

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Zone Director, this role sits within our Asia Pacific Head Office, based in Melbourne.

This is a fast paced & varied role requiring you to demonstrate a proactive attitude and the ability to apply yourself to any challenge with initiative & enthusiasm. Due

In order to be considered for this role, we need someone who can work autonomously to ensure execution of the following responsibilities;

  • Ability to prepare and execute integrated marketing plans including coordination of a 18-month rolling calendar
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a marketing budget with the ability to work closely with our distributors and operations teams
  • Channel management experience and ability to execute effective trade marketing strategies
  • Solid understanding of eBusiness principles and ability to develop and execute an engaging amplification strategy
  • Management of PR Agencies in Australia and New Zealand to manage campaigns and maximise coverage opportunities across traditional and digital medias
  • End to end management of events and sponsorships, aligned to brand pillars
  • Experience in launching new products and ability to prepare and execute targeted launch plans
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and prepare monthly reports for Zone Director
  • Experience in managing social channels, influencers and key social strategies
  • Be ahead of industry trends and apply these to our business to ensure we are first to market
  • Coordinate marketing and trade collateral
  • Experience in managing a direct report
  • Strong communication skills with requirement to provide support to our APAC Marketing team

     

Personal Attributes

  • Tertiary qualified, marketing discipline essential
  • Strong experience juggling multiple tasks and projects
  • This roles requires someone with a willingness to have a hands on approach to all tasks
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
  • Strong social and digital knowledge is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and can demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for your work
  • Experience in a professional environment essential
  • Experience in FMCG and event operations is desirable

The role is based in Melbourne and you will be required to have full working rights for Australia.
