ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting full-time position and unique opportunity available for an experienced ‘Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team, based at our head office in Edinburgh North.
You will be someone who exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. You will need to work under pressure, have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy work schedule.
Core duties will include, although are not limited to:
- Reporting to the Marketing Manager & Web Manager
- Managing all graphic design requirements for the team
- Creative strategising for campaign based material
- Designing for the digital environment including web, social media & advertising
- Producing high quality finished works for print and signage
- Coordinating print production and file preparation
- Image retouching, correction and editing
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
You will be someone who can work autonomously as well as in a team and be a key support for the department. If you feel that you can meet the following attributes we would love for you to join us!
- High level of experience designing online and offline marketing communication from concept to production
- Demonstrate understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Experience in print production - liaising with the printer on colour matching, proofs and press checks
- Understanding of web design / user experience best practices
- Knowledge of wire-framing / prototyping software (Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD etc)
- Proven ability to work autonomously although as part of a team environment
- Experience with team collaboration tools desirable but not essential
