Our client is seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist who’ll play an imperative role in developing effective media and engagement strategies for their customers.
Client Details
Our client is seeking a ‘Communications & Engagement Specialist’ for a 6 months contract to assist the Marketing & Communications team during an infrastructure project.
You will contribute to their brand and reputation by building great community and stakeholder relationships, fostering shared understanding and inspiring trust and confidence in the business. The ideal candidate will encourage collaboration, and deliver clear communication goals that align with the organizations strategic objectives.
Description
The role involves working across one or more infrastructure projects, guiding delivery of bespoke communication and engagement programs and supporting more junior members of the team to do so. On any day this may include developing or delivering community engagement strategies or plans, writing or reviewing communication materials, facilitating workshops, participating in client meetings, managing conversations with outraged community members, exploring risk management or making decisions associated with the engagement approach.
Profile
The successful candidate will have a Tertiary qualification in Communications or a related field, post graduate qualifications are highly regarded. You will have at least 8 years’ experience in a communications, community engagement, marketing or business management role. With a customer centric mindset, the desired candidate will be results focused, resilient, and able to build relationships and influence at all levels and portray have a strong sense of urgency.
