Zurich Financial Services Australia is currently in the midst of one of the largest integration and change programs of its kind in Australia; the acquisition of OnePath. The acquisition will propel us into, and position us as, the leading Life insurer in Australia. As part of the acquisition, we are looking to bring on-board an experienced Communications Manager to work in close collaboration with the Communications Director on this critical and high profile integration project.
 
As a Communications Manager dedicated to the OnePath integration project, you’ll develop and manage communications to support Zurich’s integration of OnePath into our business, with a particular focus on supporting the customer and financial adviser streams. You’ll develop and execute communications plans, across marketing communications, public relations, and digital/social, developing messaging and multimedia content which will be targeted at a range of target audiences.
 
As an experienced communication professional, you’ll have strong experience in developing communications strategies, and successfully executing imaginative communications programs with demonstrable business benefit. Exemplary writing and creative skills are two critical components of the role, as is problem solving and stakeholder management.
 
Experience aside, you’re a strong communicator, relationship builder, influencer and change catalyst; with good self-awareness and emotional intelligence. You’ll have demonstrable experience in a corporate communications, PR or marketing communications role within a B2B environment. Experience within financial services, and especially insurance, will be held in high regard. As a highly adaptable individual you’ll thrive in a busy and challenging environment whilst constantly evolving to keep pace in a competitive industry.
 
This role sits within a dedicated communications team to help support the successful integration of OnePath into the Zurich business.
