THE JOB:

Reporting to the SEO Manager and based in our Melbourne office you'll have a deep understanding of organic search. You'll love the challenge of an ever-changing search landscape and always searching for new opportunities to drive better results.

The role will see you helping to craft the future of SEO within Sportsbet. You will take a leading role in a number of SEO projects, working closely with various areas of the business to deliver against our SEO strategies and objectives. Due to the always changing search landscape you'll develop innovative new strategies to leverage emerging search trends and technologies.

You'll also be responsible for:

• Providing project and SEO updates to internal and external partners and stakeholder management
• Manage stakeholders across a range of exciting projects and product launches
• Producing performance and insight recommendation reports
• Regular competitor analysis as well as website, content & backlink audits
• Regular keyword research and content optimisation using a variety of tools.

IS THIS ROLE FOR ME?

You’re a mixture of the above, a true all-rounder! However, you will also have:

• We want someone to challenge us, offer up innovative alternatives to our current SEO approaches and ultimately drive even better outcomes from our organic search presence. Is this you? Read on and see if you've got what it takes to be part of this high performing crew.

• Thorough knowledge and up-to-date on current search trends as well as search ranking optimization factors and key algorithm updates.

• Collaborative working style with an ability to work within a team in a hands-on capacity to achieve individual, team and organisational goals.
• Track record of SEO success – identifying SEO issues and opportunities as well as providing and implementing recommendations to improve campaigns.
• Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization including outreach, link building, content marketing & content creation, with proven results.
• 2-3 years’ SEO industry experience agency or client side, ideally at enterprise level
• Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools including: Google Analytics, Search Console, Microsoft Office, ScreamingFrog, Ahrefs etc.
