Our client is a federal government authority that oversees quality standards in the early childhood industry.
 
They are seeking an experienced and savvy communications manager to develop strategies to drive the organisation’s national agenda.
 
They will be able to think strategically but implement practical solutions, particularly multi-media channels with a focus on digital and social media content.
 
They will lead and inspire a team of communication professionals and support the wider organisation.
 
Key accountabilities include:

• Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies and activities aligned with the overarching strategic plan.
• Mentor a small communication team and provide direct support to the senior management.
• Manage online and off-line information and resources, including the website, newsletters, printed collateral and social media.
• Analyse, measure and report on the effectiveness of all campaign activity.

 
Essential skills include:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and distilling complex themes and issues.
• Experience and skills in developing and managing stakeholder relationships, particularly internal teams.
• Ability to lead and develop an engaged team.
