Tropico is a long established food manufacturing business. Specialising in fruit juices, purees and value-added fruit preparations - we are a fast moving, robust manufacturing business with a focus on products, services and people. The company is undertaking an expansion strategy into some new exciting markets.
We are currently seeking a Tradesman (Fitter, Turner and Machinist) to join our small Engineering team. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will suit a like-minded team player focussed on efficiency, accuracy and takes pride in getting the job done well.
The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General Process Machinery Maintenance & Servicing
- Fabrication and Installation
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in the Food Industry
- Superior Stainless Steel TIG Welding Including Purge Welding
- Sound knowledge of Pneumatics
- Sound knowledge of Pumps, Gearboxes
- Must be able to work without Supervision
The ideal candidate will be:
