Mackay Regional Council is currently recruiting for an Automotive Electrician to join our Plant & Procurement team.
Mackay Regional Council is recruiting for an Automotive Electrician to maintain Council’s Plant and Equipment Fleet to a high standard. In this role, you will provide auto electrical and mechanical expertise to internal and external clients of Mackay Regional Council.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience post apprenticeship in auto electrical including engines, transmissions, hydraulics and automotive air-conditioning
- A current QLD ‘C’ Class drivers licence
- A General Construction Safety ‘White/Blue’ card
- Good written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work effectively and productively within a team or independently
- The ability to read and understand plans and specifications, assist with planning and organisation of projects
