A position has become available at our Hanwood Processing Plant for an experienced Maintenance Manager. Reporting to the Site Manager this role requires a trade qualified, self-motivated person who can demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensure the maintenance department operates efficiently, comply to the Company's safety policies and procedures as well as to Statutory and Legal requirements;
- Manage resources such that maintenance requests are prioritised appropriately to meet the business needs and expectations;
- Drive and model a leadership style and behaviour that supports a safety culture at all times;
- Managing the departmental budget ensuring budgeted costs and expenditure are in line with forecasts;
- Drive cultural change through empowering, leading and role modelling business principles and values and drive improvement in leadership and capability through effective coaching and mentoring;
- Manage people to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Strong system experience in MEX maintenance system;
- Maintenance Management experience;
- Dual (electrical and mechanical) background is preferred;
- Ability to work afternoon shifts and weekends;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships;
