We are a leading Queensland business servicing a national customer base in the traffic and road infrastructure industry. Based on persistent growth across our range of vehicle fitted devices we require a full-time, experienced, trade qualified, mechanic to join our team in Beenleigh.
You will be required to work across the full spectrum of our vehicle products including:
- assembly, service and repair of traffic control trucks and utes including sensors, automation and hydraulic systems
- vehicle fit outs comprising in-cabin switch controllers, external signage, cameras and hydraulic equipment,
- potential for full vehicle integrated wiring and often complex fit-outs
- attaching Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMAs)
- product assembly in a workshop environment,
- assisting other teams across products such as fixed signage assembly, trailers and possible site or service work.
To be Successful you will:
- Have at least 4 years experience (can include apprenticeship)
- Experience with wired vehicle fit outs on trucks and utilities preferred including LCD panels, hydraulics and safety systems
- Open drivers licence with good driving record
- Professional presentation and ability to positively represent our business
- Problem solving skills with a focus on process / product improvement
- Experience working independently
- Experience with trucks and vehicles
- Positive, proactive nature
- Energetic and efficient work manner, with a focus on quality
- Willingness to take direction and seek assistance as required
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workflow.
