The opportunity
This full-time opportunity will allow you to complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (Sheet Metal) via an apprenticeship of 4 years’ duration. You will gain valuable hands on experience, skills, and support from one of Australia’s leading providers of sheet metal ducting.
Who we’re looking for
Our host is looking for enthusiastic first year Sheet Metal fabrication apprentices to specialise in the manufacturing of duct fittings. This employer will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to grow within their business and ultimately branch out and expand their experience within the industry.
Ideally this candidate is a self-starter who is willing to show initiative, have a natural drive for the business, and a strong work ethic. You will have great communication skills, attention to detail, be comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Our host is looking for someone who is looking to complete their apprenticeship with a single employer and can provide long term employment opportunities for the right applicant.

Our client
Our client has been in the industry since 1984 and specialise in the complete design, manufacture and installation of dust extraction, ventilation and fume exhaust systems. This business has an onsite engineering team who are involved with specifying for their customers and the potential candidate can work with these team members to develop their skills further.
