Connect People have an opportunity for experienced HVAC Mechanics with experience in Maintenance and Fault Finding to operate in the commercial sector. The position is on a Full Time basis with potential overtime hours. Our client is an industry leader operating from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidate. Employment will be Maintenance of a major Melbourne Hospital complex.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated Industry Experience
- Trade qualified Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician
- Strong Fault Finding Skills
- High Ethical Attitude and ability to hold to company models/values
- Ability to adopt and adapt to contract requirements
- Experience with Air Handling Units and Chillers
- Able to complete paperwork in timely efficient manner
- Experience in breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to work without supervision
- Must be trustworthy, reliable and provide references
- Willing to participate in a Call out Roster of 1 week in every 5
To be eligible for the role you must possess the following:
- Current National Police Check / or be able to complete one
- Hold a current drivers Licence
- Hold a current Refrigerant Handling License
- Be of good health and pass a pre-employment medical.
- Current Working With Children Check
The role itself will be working within a team of trades professionals and performing general maintenance works as well as fault finding works. The right person will be flexible and adaptable to new environments and have the ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds. There is also potential for Shift Work down the Track for the right person.
