Allround Electrical  is a family owned electrical contracting company. Our core business is domestic and commercial installation and repairs, we pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient customer service. Our business has been consistently growing and we are looking for an Electrician to join our team.

ABOUT YOU:

 To be considered for the position you will need to be a dedicated, confident quality focused tradesperson with previous experience in a similar roll. You should be VERY customer service focused and capable of building strong relationships with others. You need to be comfortable ordering materials, scheduling and managing small to medium jobs for completion on time and on budget.

This role will suit someone who is an energetic, self starter with a positive attitude. You should posses strong problem solving and fault-finding skills, enjoy working hard and be committed to achieving the best results for our clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will be perfectly suited for a tradesperson who takes great pride in their work, is happy to work alone and/or with other trades people and can manage their day to day time and efficiency in the job.

The job provides a good variety of work with key duties such as-

• General lighting, power and various electrical equipment installations
• Managing small projects, reading and interpreting technical drawings and attending site meetings from time to time
• Supervising and training of apprentices and staff whilst working as part of a team
• Installation, service and maintenance works including testing, fault-finding and commissioning
• Communicate effectively with clients, maintain company standards and ensure high quality workmanship

In addition to normal work functions, you would be required to keep the workshop and company vehicles in good order.

Skills and experience

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Current QLD Electrical License
• Domestic experience with fault finding
• Physically capable
• Have current revelant licences (electrical licence, white/blue construction card, drivers license, current CPR/SWB rescue etc)
• Must be able to work autonomously, alone and/or in a small dynamic team
• Forward thinking, time management and job planning skills
• Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills are essential as you will be resposable for dealing with a range of customers, builders and suppliers.
• Follow procedures for compliance, safety and risk assessments under legislative requirements
• Ability to work flexable hours to meet the requirements of the position
