As Supervisor, you will require excellent planning and organisation skills with positive customer service presence in the depot. This position requires you to work in a regulated workplace that prides itself on meeting strict deadlines in a schedule driven environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working and leading a team of mechanics and be proactive in your approach to maintaining the company’s road fleet and equipment. You will work closely with staff and managers to create a positive work environment and work ethic, whilst inspiring a positive attitude in the work place.
Requirements:
- Effectively service and repair the Company’s road fleet and equipment to meet daily operational requirements
- Maintain high standards of service.
- Administrative duties associated with the repair and maintenance of the fleet and associated equipment
- Adhere to all WH&S policies and procedures
- General workshop duties
- Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices.
What you’ll need:
- Possess initiative and a strong work ethic
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment
- Computer office skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Fleet planning highly regarded
- Background in fleet maintenance and repair highly regarded
- Possess a MR or HR license
- RMS approved HVIS certificate will be highly regarded
- Trade qualifications recommended
