3 Point Motors Mercedes-Benz in Epping is on the search for a qualified and experienced Workshop Foreman / Quality Controller.

About the role:
This role will support the Workshop Controller in running our busy workshop and providing direction and operational support for the workshop technicians. The ideal candidate will need to have current workshop management experience. You will foster and maintain positive working relationships with workshop floor staff as well as the front-line service staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Diagnostics - test drive cars with customers to determine technical concerns
- Quoting for repairs as required
- Ensuring that technicians reports are completed correctly
- Assisting technicians complete repairs where necessary
- Ensuring that all technicians and apprentices are adequately trained
- Quality Control of all completed repairs
- To act as a back-up for the Workshop controller in the event that he is on leave or sick
- Encourage industry 'best practice' disciplines and processes.
Essential skills required:
- An in-depth mechanical knowledge with a mechanical trade qualification or similar
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Multi-task and maintain a high standard of quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Motivated to exceed customer expectations and meet deadlines
