Qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Fitter required for a busy local business located in Chinchilla. The role will be based predominately in the workshop with occasional field service requirements.
The Key Reponsibilities of the role include :
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of Prime Movers and Semi Trailers.
Fault identification and rectification.
Undertake on the job and other technical training.
Suitable applicants will have the following skills:

Mechanical trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic) with minimum 3 years experience out of Apprenticeship.

Demonstrated ability to work on Transmissions, Torque Converters, Axles, Differentials and Brake assemblies

Excellent diagnostics, repairing and rebuilding skills

Excellent communication skills and presentation

Current Driver's licence, HR licence and forklift ticket favourable.

Ability to work in a team environment to obtain a positive outcome for the business

Must be able to work 2 + 1 Roster

Own Hand Tools to be provided
