Wanted:
An exciting opportunity is available in one of Melbourne's premier Telecommunication Company's. Astrotec Communications specialise in underground work on the Telstra Network and the NBN rollout.
Our core business focuses on conduit and pit installation, trenching and underground boring throughout Metropolitan Melbourne to new homes, unit developments, commercial properties and specialised works.
If you have the following skills then this is the role for you:
Proven trade experience
Experienced Trade background
Team player
The following would be an advantageous, however we will consider all applicants that are a good fit for our team:
MR Truck licence
Excavator experience
Knowledge of the Telstra / NBN networks
Pending background and skill set of applicant, Astrotec Communications can provide you with further training and requirements.
Your role will acquire skills in Pit & Pipe Installation, Excavator operation, underground boring, Truck Driver's Licence (medium ridged), white card, first aid, on site management and any other industry tickets that may be relevant to your role. All industry related tickets are provided by the company as part of your training if not already acquired.
Applicants must posses a strong and professional work ethic, be willing to work weekends and long hours at times
You must be hard working and have a positive work attitude, with a long-term commitment to being part of a growing business.

Must be based in the Eastern suburbs and have your own car and Victorian Driver's Licence.
