We currently seek a highly motivated and customer oriented electrician to join our field service team as an Overhead Crane Service Technician. Based in Bayswater and reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of inspection and maintenance services to our customers across a diverse and varied industry base with the aim of continually improving the safety, productivity and durability of their equipment.
The successful candidate will need to be at ease talking to customers – we care more about your ability to communicate with customers than your crane experience. Your trade skills need to be top notch and you should have a good mechanical aptitude. However, our service quality is based on helping customers make the right decisions in the maintenance of their equipment so the ability to come up with and discuss maintenance solutions is critical.
This role will typically suit someone who has at least two years' experience post apprenticeship, preferably in an industrial maintenance role. You will need to be comfortable working at height. We will train you on crane technology and maintenance, but we can't teach positive and service oriented attitude, so these are qualities you must bring yourself.
