Detrac Diesel is a family owned company that was established in 1976. We are specialists in truck and bus repairs and service all makes of medium commercial trucks and diesel vehicles.
Detrac Diesel holds a reputation for excellent workmanship, personal service and attention to detail. We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform such tasks as diagnose, service, overhaul, maintain, repair and test diesel powered vehicles. The successful applicant must be committed to providing quality service to our loyal customers.
Technical Requirements:
- Trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics
- Minimum of 4 years experience
- Drivers Licence - HR Truck Licence and Forklift Licence desirable
- Current Air-conditioning Licence desirable
Personal Requirements:
- Self motivated
- Mechanical aptitude
- High level of skill in problem solving and analysis
- Physically fit
- Excellent communication skills with customers and staff
- Capable of daily running of workshop
- Pride in quality of work and maintaining the existing reputation of the company
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work with little supervision
