Our client is located in Somersby and is seeking a Spray Painter / Powder Coater recent TAFE graduates welcome to apply.
This role will begin as an ongoing temp role but for the right person, a permanent position may become available. You need to be available immediately and have demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Our client specialises in extrusion lengths for their own specific screen manufacturing plant. Due to expansion, a current opening for a self-motivated fast learner who has an underpinning knowledge of powder application, oven baking process, acid dipping preparation and takes pride in their workmanship to fulfil the role of Powder Coater.
Successful applicants will be working in a small group specialising in custom frames and made to order items
Duties involve:
- Interpretation of powder coating colours.
- Applying powder to a prepared product.
- Knowledge of oven baking procedures.
- Operating in a high-volume extrusion powder coating environment.
- Working autonomously on specific tasks to support the wider production team.
- Undertaking all tasks safely.
- Managing your own time to prevent hold ups in workflow.
- Undertake a broad range of factory tasks set by management.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence required.
