Medical Service Technician
Medigas is a leading medical equipment service company, offering specialized workshop and field repairs, maintenance and installation of medical gas equipment to Victorian and NSW hospitals.
We are seeking a full time, skilled person to carry out both internal and off site service role to both metropolitan and regional areas.
The focus of this role is to carry out scheduled maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installation to a range of medical gas equipment.
Nurturing a rapport with our clients and building ongoing relationships will be an essential part of this role.
We are looking for an honest and friendly person to fit into our team. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. A strong background in maintenance, fitting and/or a solid mechanical understanding will be an advantage.
Duties would include:
- Internal workshop maintenance
- External / offsite service maintenance
- Travel to sites both metropolitan and rural
- Callout type breakdown service
- Installations
- Sales of parts and equipment
- Liasing with key personnel on offsite facilities
- Maintaining stock control
This role will require:
· Current driver's license
· Excellent diagnostic skills
· A flexible and positive 'can do' attitude·
High level of self management and accountability
· A professional manner and customer focused approach
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Sound computer skills
· Good attention to detail
· Highly motivated, able to work independently and have initiative.
The successful candidate will be required to be on call at times and will be able to work the occasional weekend and after hours. There will be country travel to service work in rural areas.
