The Position:-
We are seeking a team of Formwork Carpenters (and those who have Leading Hand experience as well) who have proven experience in either Highway Construction, Bridge Building, Road Works or Civil, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety. You will be required to work alongside Concretors and Steel Fixers as part of a Motorway upgrade project on the Southside of Brisbane. This is approx 6 months of work which requires you to work 5-6 days per week. In return, our client is offering lots of hours/overtime, penalties and a long term project to work on.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification in Carpentry or Formwork
- Ability to provide a Police Check
- Previous experience in a similar role in the above-mentioned skill sets and preferably have experience working on Highway Projects, Large scale infrastructure or Bridge Projects
- Commitment to working in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test if required
- White/blue construction card
- Current Drivers Licence + Your own Reliable transport
- Other qualifications are highly regarded but not essential (Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift, Dogman, Elevated Work Platform)
