Super Gardens is a successful, established, privately owned business, spanning over 28 years, specialising in Grounds and Garden Maintenance and Commercial Landscape Construction.

Due to continued success and growth, we have opportunities for apprentices to join our teams in both the South East and North West and gain a qualification in Certificate III in Landscape. 

Our apprentices learn from industry experienced and qualified supervisors and we provide learning opportunities across a number of areas. As a Landscape Apprentice, you will gain exposure to some of the following: 
  • Softscape: Planting bed preparation, turf and hydro mulch lawns, plant installation,understanding of irrigation systems;
  • Landscape Maintenance: Assist with the ongoing maintenance periods to achieve a high standard of project delivery at Final Completion; tasks include mowing; whipper snipping, pruning, blowing, and weeding and rubbish removal;
  • Gardening and turf maintenance duties including: learning to identify and treat weeds, pests and diseases, general planting, feeding and fertilisation of plants and lawns and;
  • Hardscape treatments including concrete formwork, paving; installation, timber work, supervision of concreters, street and sports furniture installation, playground installation and assistance to subcontractors.
What's required
  • Drivers Licence, manual preferred 
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be physically fit and able to undertake manual work
  • A genuine interest in horticulture is essential 
This is a fantastic opportunity if you love the outdoors, are enthusiastic and have a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Additional hours are required from time to time, including some weekend work ( minimum 6 Saturdays per year ).
