The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 - £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This role is based in a busy educational support team within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. The role holder will work collaboratively with academic programme leads in the development of quality management policy and ensure administrative systems are maintained to deliver effective quality assurance processes and procedures across a range of professional health programmes.
It is responsible for managing a small team of quality officers in the delivery of reliable and timely operational routines; enabling the team to be able to provide authoritative regulatory advice & guidance to colleagues and ensuring compliance with all statutory returns, coordinating preparation for audits, accreditation and programme validation requirements.
The role will be expected to maintain a comprehensive and up to date standard of knowledge across a broad range of regulations and guidance; particularly those of the General Medical Council, General Pharmacy Council, British Dietetics Association and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Some experience of working in a quality assurance role within the NHS or HEi would be beneficial. Applicants must have excellent IT experience.
The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview with competency based questions. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 4 October
