The School of languages and Social Sciences is an ambitious, expanding, multidisciplinary School with an established reputation in teaching and research. The English Department is seeking to make an appointment of a Lecturer in English Literature from 1stApril 2018. This is to support the introduction of new undergraduate and research degree programmes in English Literature. Strong candidates in the areas of 20th century and/or contemporary literature with specialisms in corpus and other computational approaches to the study of literature and/or creative writing are particularly welcome.
