Detail information about job Research Fellowship: Caird & Sackler Short-Term Fellowships. Terms and conditions vacancy
Tenable from October 2018
Royal Museums Greenwich support high-quality research on its collections and related subjects and invites applications for the following fellowships:
Caird & Sackler Short-Term Fellowships
These awards, in the fields of maritime history, marine art, technology and the history of navigation and astronomy, are for periods of up to three months to encourage research into the Museum’s collections by overseas scholars, museum professionals or those living at a distance from London.
In 2018 the Museum will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the departure of Cook's first voyage. We therefore encourage applications relating to the maritime exploration of the Pacific in the 18th and 19th centuries, in particular those of James Cook. In addition, the Museum is keen to receive proposals on themes emanating from, and relating to, the recently acquired Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I.
