Academic Section
The Academic Section is looking for a professional and well-organised Partnerships Manager to join the Partnerships Team within the Quality and Development Unit. The work of the Partnerships team includes oversight of the University's educational collaborative academic partnerships who deliver courses leading to University of Essex awards. Current partner institutions include further education colleges, private providers, an NHS training organisation and an expanding transnational education portfolio.
The Role and Duties
Working as part of a team, the postholder will support a range of collaborative academic partnerships, providing high-quality advice, guidance and solutions. The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and enhancement responsibilities in the higher education context, including matters affecting collaborative provision and will have the ability to develop expertise across all aspects of educational partnerships in higher education.
Qualifications and Skills required
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines whilst handling multiple priorities. Flexibility and first-class team working skills and the ability to establish good working relationships at every level of an organisation, are also essential requirements for the post. You will have significant and relevant administrative experience and the ability to understand and interpret regulatory frameworks and conduct complex casework, plus have a flexible approach and a willingness and ability to travel both within and outside the UK.
