The University of Oxford has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst within our Programme and Projects Delivery team in IT Services, delivering a large capital programme of technology and business change. The Senior Business Analyst will have the opportunity of working on a variety of change projects, to help the University to deliver its strategic plan to lead the world in research and education (see: www.ox.ac.uk/about/organisation/strategic-plan).
You will work with stakeholders across the university to scope new project requests, gather business requirements, define and map improved business processes and assist with the evaluation and selection of solutions. During implementation, you may be working with in-house software development teams or third party package suppliers to ensure that solutions meet business needs, and user acceptance criteria (see: www.it.ox.ac.uk/project-portfolio).
As a Senior Business Analyst you will have demonstrable experience working as a Business Analyst on IT projects, and have excellent analytical abilities. You will also possess excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
This post is offered as fixed-term for 3 years.
