We are currently looking to recruit an AV & Learning Spaces Manager who will act as the champion for new technologies as well as lead a team of specialists who will provide and support the IT & AV technology across the University in all of the teaching and learning spaces. As AV & Learning Spaces Manager, you will provide the strategic management and lead the delivery in the transformational design, specification, provision and maintenance of IT & AV technology, liaising with Internal and External Suppliers to achieve this.
What are we looking for?We are looking for a strong communicator, to provide the strategic leadership in the development, transformation and delivery of the active learning spaces to meet the demands of our staff and students in the new ways of teaching and learning. Candidates should be degree educated, or hold demonstrable relevant experience within a similar role, along with evidence of continual professional development throughout their career.
You will have experience of delivering IT & AV technology within an HE environment, along with a desire to take on complex challenges with the resultant service developments which meet and respond to customer needs. Key to this position is a detailed knowledge of how the traditional and emerging technology themes which underpin the provision of teaching environments can be used to enhance learning, teaching and the student experience in physical and online learning spaces.
