We are looking for a post-doctoral associate to work in our group, at the Weizmann Institute in Israel, within the context of a newly-starting (2017 - 2022) ERC Advanced Grant on biolubrication and its relation to osteoarthritis. The work is interdisciplinary and involves both delicate physical measurements using surface force balances as well as more macroscopic techniques. A background in  chemistry, physics, biophysics, biomedical engineering, or materials science would be useful. A background in orthopaedics or rheumatology is also acceptable. The appointment is for a period of up to 3 to 5 years.
