The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London invites applications for the post of Professor of Economics. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is sought for this position: Finance, Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

The successful candidate must have a clear international profile and reputation for excellence. An outstanding record of publications with demonstrable impact in the field, and a well-established academic network are essential requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of the School’s research strategies, to be active in attracting research income and to play a full role in leadership and supervision of postgraduate students. A proven ability to provide wider leadership at the School, and to engage with government institutions, is essential.
