About us China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC), founded by Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU), devotes to provide talents, technology and industry support aiming for deeply involved in global governance, promoting the China's low carbon industry and sustainable development, as well as proposing solutions for the changes in response to global climate. Working at LCC LCC is located at Lingang Industrial Area of Pudong New Area, Shanghai, which is known as the low-carbon practice base of Shanghai. LCC has an independent courtyard with two buildings of more than 20000 square meters, it owns one main building and one independent laboratory building with top-ranking facilities.

Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor in Climate Change and Sustainable Development
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Power and Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economic Management, Finance, or related fields.
- The ability to establish and conduct independent and innovative research.
- Applicant with research background of carbon technology, carbon management and carbon finance will be preferred.
- Priority for those who have one year or more research experience in the world-class university or institute.
For successful applicant, he/she will be provided with:
- Salary: The Assistant Professor’s base salary will be no less than$43,000 USD per year, performance allowance not included. The Associate Professor (Special Researcher) will have no less than $58,000USD per year, performance allowance not included. The Professor will have no less than $86,000 USD per year, performance allowance not included.
- Doctoral supervisor qualifications.
- First-class scientific research platform and working conditions; $73,000 to $430,000 USD Start-up funding.
- Well-furnished transitional apartment; more than$73,000to $215,000USDhousing subsidies.
For those who has been granted as "1000-talents Plan – Young Professionals":
- Salary: base salary will be no less than $58,000 USD per year, performance allowance not included.
- Doctoral supervisor qualifications.
- First-class scientific research platform and working conditions; $145,000 to $ 430,000 USD Start-up Funding
- Well-furnished transitional apartment; more than $ 215,000 USD housing subsidies
