Research excellence is at the heart of Staffordshire University’s strategic planning and central to the new University vision and strategy of being the Connected University. As part of our substantial new investment in areas of research strength we are inviting applications to the post of Senior Researcher in Stress. Working closely with our team of researchers including Professor Marc Jones, Dr Chris Gidlow and Dr Martin Turner, you will be engaged in research projects directed towards understanding stress, and stress management in a wide variety of contexts. This work will include, but not be limited to, building on our research on ‘challenge’ and ‘threat’ states in performance settings through to research on health and well-being in natural environments.
