Do you have a proven ability to carry out teaching and research in Financial Mathematics or related topics?
The School of Mathematics is seeking up to two talented Lecturers to increase our resources in Actuarial/Financial Mathematics and/or Statistics. You will have an excellent research record, an aspiration to obtain external research funding and a passion for delivering first-class inspirational teaching and supervision. As a Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Statistics with a preference for Actuarial or Financial Mathematics. You will also join our research group in Probability, Stochastic Modelling and Financial Mathematics.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field, a proven record of teaching in a University environment, and outstanding post-doctoral research experience in a relevant subject area.
