Job Purpose
New closing date: 1 October 2017.
To contribute to (provide leadership if Grade 9) in the equine surgery referral service within the Weipers Centre for Equine Welfare by undertaking and developing the clinical service and participating in national/international, high quality clinical scholarship and research-led education, contributing to academic developments in the Division and School through clinical scholarship, training and teaching and contributing at national level through external association.
Standard Terms & Conditions
The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 8/9, £41,709 - £48,327 / £49,772 - £55,998 per annum, depending on experience.
This position is open ended and full time.
The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities' Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
All research and related activities, including grants, donations, clinical trials, contract research, consultancy and commercialisation are required to be managed through the University's relevant processes (e.g. contractual and financial), in accordance with the University Court's policies.
