We are seeking talented, insightful, and ambitious scientists looking to develop new biomedical initiatives within TTP. The Biomedical Scientist role offers the opportunity to contribute to some of the newest advances in biomedicine. We work across a mixture of projects including work for external clients as well as inventing and commercialising new, disruptive technologies. Clients range from innovative start-ups to some of the world’s most respected technology companies.
To qualify, candidates will have excellent academic credentials (including a PhD or equivalent experience) and enjoy creating solutions to complex technical challenges.
Qualifications and Training:
- PhD or equivalent experience in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field
Skills and Experience:
- Curiosity, imagination, and creativity
- First hand experience in advanced biomedical techniques for biochemistry, molecular, and cellular biology (such as cell-based micro physiology systems, next generation sequencing, microRNA, and CRISPR technology)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant problem solving skills and an ability to work independently
- Interest in business and enterprise, including intellectual property, and ideally an awareness of commercial trends and opportunities in biomedicine
- Demonstrated success in scientific leadership would be an advantage
