About the jobThe University of South Australia’s (UniSA’s) School of Engineering provides education for aviation’s future leaders in piloting and aviation management, with an increasing emphasis on non-technical skills such as human factors, crew resource management, multi crew cooperation and safety management.

As the State’s only university to offer aviation at the tertiary level, the School is seeking to appoint an academic/industry leader to provide strategic direction and drive the growth of UniSA’s engagement with the aviation sector. Skills and ExperienceWith an outstanding record of achievement in the aviation industry sector warranting an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level, you will be able to develop and implement strategic plans, generate income and provide leadership in either the aviation industry or in an academic environment.

Your excellent written and oral communication skills will allow you to effectively establish relationships with industry, build links through collaborative research, present at seminars and international conferences and successfully produce research publications and educational materials.
