The Faculty of Medical Science is the newest of our University’s five faculties. The Faculty builds on the strong national and international reputation of our flagship Postgraduate Medical Institute (PMI) and is committed to further developing our teaching, learning and research expertise in allied and public health, postgraduate medicine and healthcare science. As such, we are investing in new state-of-the-art laboratories and training facilities. Our faculty has a vibrant research culture and the PMI has 9 joint research units with NHS partners. These research units cover a wide range of clinical disciplines which provides an exciting opportunity for you to develop your own research interests through our well-established clinical research networks. We’re seeking an individual to coordinate and deliver our growing portfolio in Medical Sciences. You’ll be the Course Leader for our BSc (Hons) in Medical Science and undertake teaching and other academic activities within our Faculty. With a PhD or Professional Doctorate, you’ll have research experience in a Medical Science related background and teaching experience at Higher Education (HE) level and relevant commercial and/or professional experience.
