Detail information about job Teaching Fellow: Experimentation. Terms and conditions vacancy

The main purpose of this role is to support our new curriculum and in particular, to teach and assist in the coordination of experimentation either in stand-alone experimentation modules or as part of standard modules. The role holder will contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum and will assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance. The role holder will also take part in problem-based and project-based learning activities as well as departmental and Faculty outreach activities. This post is funded for two years in the first instance.

The key skills required for the post is a first degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and/or experience, experimentation knowledge in the broad field of chemical engineering, and excellent people skills and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues and external partners.
