The Role

Do you have experience of programming and/or creative production, planning and delivering a range of projects and events including festivals, of running courses, classes and workshops for young people and effective project management skills including budgeting and strategic planning?

Gulbenkian is looking for a Programme Manager to support the Director, with minimal supervision, in the effective management and development of all aspects of the Gulbenkian artistic programme to become a leading international arts centre presenting and producing an inspiring programme which is engaging, innovative and of the highest quality.

The Person

As Programme Manager you will:

• Support the Director in devising, developing and managing the Gulbenkian Artistic Programme
• Work with the Director to build a range of strategic and sustainable creative relationships, regionally, nationally and internationally
• Research and contact international and UK artists and companies who may form part of the programme.
• The role will have a particular emphasis on the bOing! International Family Festival and ART31 cultural leadership project
• The Programme Manager is part of the Artistic Team, which also comprises the Director and Head of Creative Learning.

The Department

Gulbenkian is the University of Kent’s Arts Centre offering innovative, inspiring and high quality arts activity with a particular focus on the creative empowerment of children and young people.
