Applicants are invited for an exciting opportunity for a statistician within the EPICure research team.  The 2 MRC-funded EPICure studies are national population based evaluations of heath and outcomes following extremely preterm birth ( www.epicure.ac.uk ). The study is currently analyzing data from a 19 year assessment and setting up an 11 year study. The postholder will be based at UCL and contribute to both studies working with Professor Neil Marlow (PI), Professor Joan Morris (statistics) and the multidisciplinary team. The post is available for 18 months in the first instance.

Applicants should have a good first degree in statistics and and a higher degree would be an advantage.  Postgraduate experience in statistical techniques and analysis is essential, in particular knowledge and understanding of statistical methods for analysing observational and longitudinal data. The study is analysed using STATA and experience in its use is desirable, as is experience in using RedCap for data collection.
