St Peter’s College seeks to appoint to two Fixed Term College Lectureships to teach topics in Applied Mathematics, starting on 1 October 2017. The first will provide on average 2 hours per week of tutorials for one academic year in the first instance with the possibility of renewal for two further years. The second will provide on average 3 hours per week as sabbatical replacement teaching for Professor Mason for Michaelmas term only. Both positions can be held by a single person if desired.

In addition to teaching tutorials and classes, the successful candidate(s) will be required to assist with the organisation of the tuition and pastoral arrangements for students studying Mathematics, and Mathematics & Statistics, and undertake related duties including marking college examinations (‘collections’) and participating in undergraduate admissions and open days.

Salary: 2-hour post: £4,342 - £4,884 per annum pro rata (£362 - £407 per month).

3-hour post:  £6,513 to £7,325 per annum pro rata (£542 to £610 per month).
