You will work with the research team to lead on the statistical analysis of quantitative research data, including the Cerebra1000 Families Study, secondary data analysis of national population studies (e.g., Millennium Cohort Study), and randomised controlled trials of interventions. You will be a writing team member for high quality peer review journal papers, including taking the lead authorship role. The post-holder will also contribute to mentoring, supervision, and bespoke training of PhD students in the research team. There may also be opportunities to contribute to other research projects in CEDAR, taking a lead on quantitative data analysis.

You will have an advanced understanding of the application of statistical modelling techniques to real world problems in social, educational, or health contexts. You will be using SPSS, Stata and/or MPlus in your day to day work. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; plan and deliver work to strict deadlines; write clearly and accessibly for different audiences; and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including professionals and family members of children with disabilities.

You will be interested in building a strong research profile through quantitative research and peer-review publications in an area of applied research.
