The purpose of the role is to support and maintain the University’s national and international reputation for excellence in research, as a member of the Primary Care Unit under the direction of Professor Jonathan Mant who leads the cardiovascular research group.
This post will form a key part of the team co-ordinating two pilot studies and a clinical trial, set in GP practices. The IPCAS Trial (http://www.ipcas.phpc.cam.ac.uk/) is evaluating a new model of Primary Care combining two interventions (IPCAS & MLAS) for stroke survivors living in the community.
Applicants should have a good first degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications or experience. The post-holder must possess excellent IT skills, communication skills and ability to use initiative and to prioritise and manage workload quickly and effectively. This role will involve an element of driving to sites across the UK so a driving licence is essential.
The funds for these posts are available until 31st December 2019.
