The Centre of Precision Rehabilitation for Spinal Pain within the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Birmingham is seeking to appoint a faculty member at Reader level.

This Centre, which brings together current multidisciplinary expertise at the University of Birmingham (physiotherapists, psychologists, biomedical engineers, physiologists), is a Centre dedicated to spinal pain research and is recruiting additional top academics in pain science and rehabilitation.

The appointed candidate will be expected to have ambition to participate in one of the UK’s strongest research Schools, maintaining our strengths as a leading research-led teaching department, capturing external research funding, and publishing work of the highest academic quality and impact. The appointee will be expected to show the ability to contribute to and shape the strategic direction of the Centre and the School, to maintain its reputation at a national and international level, and to contribute to outstanding postgraduate supervision and undergraduate teaching.
