The Business School wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, within the Accounting and Finance Subject Group. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the teaching of accounting and finance across all stages of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You are expected to conduct research within accounting and finance, although related areas of research will also be considered. Prior real-world experience of working within the financial sector or having relevant professional qualifications would also be an advantage, but is not a requirement.

You should hold a good honours degree and PhD in Accounting and/or Finance, or a closely related discipline. You should evidence a trajectory towards the following aims and outcomes over the next five years: a demonstrable track record in publishing research in leading international journals; a record of achievement in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and administration; experience in supervising research students through to completion; experience in applying for research funding.

Informal enquiries should be made to Professor Simon Hussain ([email protected]).
