We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on an interdisciplinary project in the Institute of Integrative Biology. The host research groups have expertise in the biochemistry of amyloid proteins and their involvement in disease and applications of nanoparticles for imaging of biological systems. We are looking for an experienced Chemist/Biochemist to lead an Alzheimer’s Research UK funded project to develop gold nano-rods for imaging to investigate amyloid transmission in disease. You should have a relevant PhD degree (e.g. Chemistry, biochemistry, nanomaterials) and experience of Chemical Synthesis. The post is available until 30 September 2018.
