Interview Date: To be confirmed
You will be in involved in a Bial Foundation funded project titled “Considering voice hearing by psychic practitioners: A qualitative pluralistic investigation of mental health and well-being.” You will be working under the supervision of Dr Craig Murray (Principal Investigator). The project aims to identify what factors protect against distress for people who hear voices but do not require service support. This will involve recruiting participants, conducting research interviews and analysing data. Additional tasks will include contributing to literature reviews, editing and formatting papers for publication. Attendance and presentation at conferences may also be required.
The post requires a highly motivated researcher with at least degree level qualification in health or social science discipline. You must have excellent communication and organization skills, be willing to work independently, and have experience of qualitative analysis. Experience of mental health research and writing for publication would be an advantage.
